Speechify is a FREE chrome extension that can be added to chrome to read any text on the screen out loud to you. This resource is designed specifically to help individuals with reading related challenges and help improve reading related disability accommodations, but has since grown to help a wide variety of individuals of all reading levels and visual ability. I use this extension to read articles or search results for me when I am having a bad ADHD day and just cannot get my eyes to focus on a computer screen to read. This software can also read other documents like e-books in addition to websites in the English language. The extension is free, no need to click yes on the free trial or to sign up for a premium membership. Simply add the extension if it interests you by clicking the button above and clicking "add extension" which will download and add the software to your Chrome browser and can be found by clicking the "extension button" which is shaped like a puzzle piece to the right of the web address of this website at the top of this window. Simply highlight the text you want read after clicking on the speechify extension and sit back and relax as the software reads the text for you.
