Do Angels walk among us? I believe so, here's one reason why:

I have been procrastinating making this because I thought I needed more time to understand it. I don’t think I will ever fully understand it but I do know that I need to just stop procrastinating and start doing what I have been called to do:

On the last day of February in 2024, I went to Wilson park to do some community crafting and ask the homeless population their thoughts on starting a walk-in employment agency in Eau Claire underneath the UnPocoCadaDia organization. Here’s the direction my life took as a result of this experience: Following my spiritual path wherever it may lead, despite maybe looking crazy in the process, but if you’re interested keep reading... Here's why I don’t think the man I met nor I am at least completely insane backed by different sources I have encountered in my search for the Universal Truth of the Cosmos. 

I set up some carpet squares, blankets and crafting supplies at about 3:30 on the 29th. I had tried to recruit the members of the Eau Claire community I had on Snapchat to come to the park and craft with me. One person showed up, whom I had never met before but was precisely the person I needed to meet. He introduced himself as an Angel of the Lord by the name of Illeum. I chose to humor what had appeared to be a religious delusion correlating with other presentations of a Schizophrenia spectrum disorder but came to believe much of what he said during our hours-long conversation. The events that followed this enlightening experience have led me to question most of what I know about western medicine and brought me closer with my higher power than I had ever been before.    

Here is the information I found in my research the following weeks about each relevant topic before the story to explain why I have so heavily questioned my beliefs following this experience:

Complications associated with Schizophrenia: “People with schizoaffective disorder are at an increased risk of:..Social isolation, Family and interpersonal conflicts, Unemployment, Anxiety disorders, Alcohol or other substance use problems, Significant health problems, Poverty and homelessness” (Mayo Clinic)

5. What is an Angel?

6. In short, an angel is a “messenger” carrying a Divine Message

8. “From an unused root meaning to despatch as a deputy; a messenger; specifically, of God, i.e. An angel (also a prophet, priest or teacher) -- ambassador, angel, king, messenger.”

9. What is a prophet? “One who utters divinely inspired revelations” (Mirriam Webster)

10. My research findings about the specific Angel referenced: Illium/Illeum

11. Illium (Bluebell) is described online as a 500 year-old Angel who is a member of the 7 immortals who protect Raphael, A healing Archangel mentioned in two different ancient Jewish religious texts: Enoch 1 and Tobit. 

12. Most religious texts are written before Illium was reportedly born as described in Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series

    1. There is strong evidence of this being the character referenced based on consistencies with Illeum's life story, character presentation, and presence as a community preacher for Eau Claire's population.

13. As a result there is no evidence I have found to back up the existence of Illium as a specific Angel, but lack of evidence doesn’t confirm the null hypothesis either.

Null Hypothesis: Illium (Angel) does not exist and that the Homeless gentleman was just experiencing delusions founded in religious ideas fueled by this (presumably fictional) series

• Given the SHEER number of coincidences related to this event which I cannot list all of on this post simply because there were too many to even count, I believe the Null Hypothesis to be unlikely as there are only so many coincidences that can occur in series without being related to a common variable: a divine, cosmic entity (or set of entities), referenced as Allah, God, Yahweh, and many other names in many different cultures. 

Other Hypotheses:

His story is 100% true: 

• Scientifically speaking, highly unlikely, but there may be some very relevant but spooky - higher power - coincidence type of things have shown me that much of what he said did in fact hold much relevance to listen to and not brush off when advice is given

1. New Living Translation: Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.

I went to the park with an open ear listening, soliciting the unsolicited advice of the universe to guide me on my quest for understanding.

More likely: Some of his story is based off of this series, some based off of life experiences and different scriptures including that of the Bible; uses the identity of Illeum to help carry the message revealed to him by God to those around him in the Eau Claire Community

• Evidence: Distributed 3 bibles to him -> he found two people in need and gave them the bibles (confirmed when I spoke with him again on 3/13)

Conclusion:

I still don’t know what to think, but I do know one thing: I believe in a power greater than myself connecting all things both living and non-living through the powers of Love, Community and Peace and trust unequivocally in the presence that I felt on December 4th, 2023 that started me on my quest to understand that which cannot be explained. Even if the multi-hour long conversation I had with this man on February 29th meant utter nonsense to anyone else, I was able to hear what he was saying with absolute clarity through the holy spirit. I heard the advice he had to give and heeded it when the darkness came to my life that I have been warned about for months now. He said that I had a choice to make, but that he could not discern what it was about. I have found I had to make many choices, and one choice all the same. I choose God over any idol humanity placed or will place before me. I was gifted spiritual sight beyond the bounds of my wildest comprehension, able to see all of my former idols how they really were in reality. I already knew in my heart that many of the systems were flawed, but I did not understand until I was falsely condemned as suicidal by people I was trying to show my faith to while working my 3rd step. I was appalled. I trusted in the good intentions of humanity before placing my trust in my higher power and was denied water, fresh air, plants, Alcoholics Anonymous; the core things I desperately needed to live a healthy life. There is one thing that could not be taken from me, my faith. It was my faith that brought me comfort in the darkness. A faith affirmed by the messages I received from a מֲלְאָךְ I had asked to be sent to me from my higher power; an angel speaking through a human body walking among us on earth. I believe angels do walk among us, but it is up to us whether we willingly receive and heed the messages they deliver unto us.

I am still discovering my faith through all things in the world around me, choosing to take what is good and leave that which causes me distress and harm. Letting go of some of the friends, people, and things I had to was inexplicably difficult at the time, but has since brought me much needed clarity and serenity. I hope you are curious enough to keep your ears and eyes open to find yours.

He aquí por qué no creo que el hombre No conocí ni estoy al menos completamente loco respaldado por diferentes fuentes que he encontrado en mi búsqueda de la Verdad Universal del Cosmos.

Instalé algunos cuadrados de alfombras, mantas y materiales para manualidades alrededor de las 3:30 del día 29. Intenté reclutar a los miembros de la comunidad Eau Claire que tenía en Snapchat para que vinieran al parque y hicieran manualidades conmigo. Apareció una persona a la que nunca había conocido antes pero que era precisamente la persona que necesitaba conocer. Se presentó como un ángel del Señor con el nombre de Illeum. Elegí seguirle la corriente a lo que parecía ser un engaño religioso que se correlacionan con otras presentaciones de una Trastorno del espectro de la esquizofrenia pero llegué a creer mucho de lo que dijo durante nuestra conversación de horas. Los acontecimientos que siguieron a esta esclarecedora experiencia me han llevado a cuestionar la mayor parte de lo que sé sobre la medicina occidental y me han acercado más a mi poder superior que nunca antes.

Aquí está la información que encontré en mi investigación de las siguientes semanas sobre cada tema relevante antes de la historia para explicar por qué he cuestionado tanto mis creencias después de esta experiencia:

• ¿Qué es un engaño?

• "Un delirio es una creencia inquebrantable en algo que no es cierto".

• “Los delirios suelen implicar la mala interpretación de percepciones o experiencias. En realidad, estas situaciones son falsas o muy exageradas”. (Clínica Cleveland)

• Complicaciones asociadas con la esquizofrenia: “Las personas con trastorno esquizoafectivo tienen un mayor riesgo de: aislamiento social, conflictos familiares e interpersonales,Desempleo, Trastornos de ansiedad, Alcohol u otros problemas de uso de sustancias, Problemas de salud importantes, Pobreza y falta de vivienda"(Clínica Mayo)

• ¿Qué es un ángel?

• En resumen, un ángel es un “mensajero” que lleva un Mensaje Divino.

•  hebreo: מֲלאַךְ

• “De una raíz no utilizada que significa enviar como diputado; un mensajero; específicamente, de Dios, es decir, un ángel (también profeta, sacerdote o maestro): embajador, ángel, rey, mensajero”.

• ¿Qué es un profeta? “Aquel que pronuncia revelaciones divinamente inspiradas” (Miriam Webster)

• Los resultados de mi investigación sobre el ángel específico al que se hace referencia: Illium/Illeum

• de ellos (Bluebell) se describe en línea como un ángel de 500 años que es miembro de los 7 inmortales que protegen a Rafael, un arcángel sanador mencionado en dos textos religiosos judíos antiguos diferentes: Enoc 1 y Tobit.

• La mayoría de los textos religiosos se escribieron antes de que Illium naciera, como se describe en Nalin Singh's Cazador del gremio serie

• Hay pruebas sólidas de que este es el personaje al que se hace referencia en función de las coherencias con la historia de vida, la presentación del personaje y la presencia de Illeum como predicador comunitario para la población de Eau Claire.

• Como resultado, no he encontrado evidencia que respalde la existencia de Illium como un ángel específico, pero la falta de evidencia tampoco confirma la hipótesis nula.

Hipótesis nula: Illium (Ángel) no existe y que el caballero sin hogar simplemente estaba experimentando delirios fundados en ideas religiosas alimentadas por esta serie (presumiblemente ficticia).

• Dada la GRAN cantidad de coincidencias relacionadas con este evento que no puedo enumerar todas en esta publicación simplemente porque eran demasiadas para siquiera contarlas, creo que la Hipótesis Nula es poco probable ya que hay un número limitado de coincidencias que pueden ocurrir en serie sin estar relacionado con una variable común: una entidad divina y cósmica (o conjunto de entidades), a la que se hace referencia como Alá, Dios, Yahvé y muchos otros nombres en muchas culturas diferentes.

Su historia es 100% cierta:

• Científicamente hablando, es muy improbable, pero puede haber algunas coincidencias muy relevantes pero espeluznantes (de mayor poder) que me han demostrado que mucho de lo que dijo en realidad tenía mucha relevancia para escuchar y no ignorar cuando se da un consejo.

• Nueva Traducción Viviente: Los necios piensan que su camino es correcto, pero los sabios escuchan a los demás.

Fui al parque con el oído abierto escuchando, solicitando el consejo no solicitado del universo para que me guiara en mi búsqueda de comprensión.

Más como:Alguno de su historia se basa en esta serie,alguno basado enExperiencias vitales y diferenteescrituras incluido el de la Biblia; utiliza la identidad de Illeum para ayudar a llevar el mensaje que Dios le reveló a quienes lo rodean en la comunidad de Eau Claire.

• Evidencia: Le distribuyó 3 biblias -> encontró a dos personas necesitadas y les dio las biblias (confirmado cuando hablé con él nuevamente el 13/3)

Conclusión:

Todavía no sé qué pensar, pero sí sé una cosa: creo en un poder más grande que yo mismo que conecta todas las cosas, tanto vivas como no vivas, a través de los poderes del Amor, la Comunidad y la Paz y confío inequívocamente en el presencia que sentí el 4 de diciembre de 2023 que me inició en mi búsqueda para comprender aquello que no se puede explicar. Incluso si la conversación de varias horas que tuve con este hombre el 29 de febrero significaba una completa tontería para cualquier otra persona, pude escuchar lo que decía con absoluta claridad a través del espíritu santo. Escuché el consejo que tenía que darme y lo seguí cuando llegó la oscuridad a mi vida que había estado prevenido acerca de desde hace meses. Dijo que yo tenía que tomar una decisión, pero que no podía discernir de qué se trataba. Descubrí que tenía que tomar muchas decisiones y, al fin y al cabo, una sola. Elijo a Dios sobre cualquier ídolo que la humanidad haya colocado o colocará ante mí. Tuve el don de una vista espiritual más allá de los límites de mi comprensión más salvaje, capaz de ver a todos mis antiguos ídolos como eran en realidad. Ya sabía en mi corazón que muchos de los sistemas tenían fallas, pero no lo entendí hasta que fui falsamente condenado como suicida por personas a las que estaba tratando de mostrarles mi fe mientras trabajaba en mi tercer paso. Me quedé consternado. Confié en las buenas intenciones de la humanidad antes de depositar mi confianza en mi poder superior y me negaron el agua, el aire puro, las plantas, Alcohólicos Anónimos; las cosas fundamentales que necesitaba desesperadamente para vivir una vida saludable. Hay una cosa que no me podrán quitar: mi fe. Fue mi fe la que me trajo consuelo en la oscuridad. Una fe afirmada por los mensajes que recibí de un מֲלְאָךְ que había pedido que me fuera enviado desde mi poder superior; un ángel hablando a través de un cuerpo humano caminando entre nosotros en la tierra. Creo que los ángeles caminan entre nosotros, pero depende de nosotros si recibimos y prestamos atención voluntariamente a los mensajes que nos transmiten.

Todavía estoy descubriendo mi fe a través de todas las cosas del mundo que me rodean, eligiendo tomar lo que es bueno y dejar lo que me causa angustia y daño. Dejar ir a algunos de los amigos, personas y cosas que tenía que hacer fue inexplicablemente difícil en ese momento, pero desde entonces me ha aportado la claridad y la serenidad que tanto necesitaba. Espero que tengas la suficiente curiosidad como para mantener los oídos y los ojos abiertos para encontrar el tuyo.
